Dr. med. vet. Tibor Rovel

Dr. Tibor Rovel graduated as a doctor in veterinary medicine in 2013 from the veterinary school of Toulouse, France. Following graduation, he completed a one-year rotating internship in equine medicine and surgery at the veterinary school of Alfort, France. He then did one year of specialized internship and one year of assistantship in equine diagnostic imaging at the veterinary school of Alfort under the supervision of Prof. Denoix and Audigie. In 2016 he started a combined residency/PhD program in diagnostic imaging at the university of Ghent, Belgium. In 2020 he received his diploma from the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) and shortly after he successfully defended his PhD. In 2020 he started working as an assistant professor at the university of Utrecht, Netherlands. In December 2023, he became a senior physician in diagnostic imaging at the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Zurich.
