Both training programs include veterinary practice in exotic pets and local wildlife admitted to the University Animal Hospital Zurich. While the ZCAM program is solely focused on exotic pet medicine and surgery, the GZH program is also including a large component of zoo animals (at the Zurich Zoo and local wildlife parcs). Active participation in research and the clinic’s continuing education programme will be requested. For both positions, a completed veterinary education as well as fluency in spoken German is required. Fluency in English is expected. Applicants must to have completed a 12 month rotating internship or at least 2 years of clinical experience in a larger, multi-discipline veterinary clinic and documented interest and networking in exotic and/or zoo animal medicine are required. Salaries are according to the Guidelines for the Classification of Academic Positions of the University of Zurich.
